The Civil Engineering Department of JSPM’s Jayawantrao Sawant Polytechnic College, Hadapsar organized an industrial Construction Site Visit for Second Year Civil Engineering (SYCE) students at Uruli Devachi, Pune. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to ongoing construction practices, modern equipment, and real-time project management techniques essential for developing industry-oriented technical skills among diploma students.
The site visit was coordinated by faculty members from the Department of Civil Engineering, who guided the students throughout the inspection. Upon arrival, students were welcomed by the site engineers and project supervisors, who provided an overview of the project. The site consisted of major activities such as foundation work, reinforcement detailing, shuttering arrangements, concrete mixing, curing procedures, and safety measures implemented at different stages of construction.
