Microprocessor Laboratory has various types of microprocessor, micro controller trainer kits along with interfacing modules to demonstrate the detailed applications of microprocessors. The purpose of this laboratory is to train the students to be familiar with the software and hardware of microprocessors so that they can gain enough experiences to meet the demand of the microprocessor era and principles of combinational and sequential digital logic design and optimisation at a gate level . This laboratory houses the hardware which includes 8085 Microprocessor trainer kits, 8086 Microprocessor trainer kits, 8051 Microcontroller trainer kits, interfacing cards and software Keil-5. This laboratory provides hand-on experience to interface I/O devices, perform A/D and D/A conversions etc.,
Hardware lab offers the students regarding knowledge and working environment about the hardware devices used in the computer like motherboard, RAM, Processor, SMPS and Printers etc.This laboratory has different hardware components sothat students can have better idea.
Operating System lab offers the students to understand and appreciate the principles in the design and implementation of operating systems software. The laboratory exercises will include familiarization with UNIX system calls for process management and inter-process communication; this Laboratory is used to conduct the practicals related to Linux operating System. Students are inspired to use Open Source Softwares.The laboratory is equipped with Computer terminals with Internet connection, chairs and white board and good quality furniture. Linux lab is exclusive for the software programs.
