About Training And Placements

Vision: - Bridge the gap between aspiring graduates and opportunities.

Mission:- To impart additional training to act as link between institute and industry for facilitating placement activities.

Objectives :-
i)To provide career related support to the students.
ii) To emphasis on training the students on various employability skills and provide placement in various industries/organizations by organizing campus drives in and outside the institute.
iii) To give feedback to the departments about industry/society needs.
iv) To get accredited by various industries /organizations.

Activities:-
    i) Collect and maintain up to date data base of students.
    ii) Collect and maintain placement/higher studies/entrepreneurship record of students well in time.
    iii) Maintain up to date data base of various recruiting organizations (email, phone).
    iv) Personal visits to such organizations.
    v) Organize visits of industry personnel’s to institute.
    vi) Prepare placement brochure based on strength and skill-set of students.
    vii) Organize various drives in the institute and communicate to students through phone, e-mail , notice and announcement in class.
    viii) To ensure that the interview schedule be held on specified date and time.
    ix)  After conducting drive ensure that results are declared and informed to all appeared students.
    x) Maintain copy of Appointment letter of selected student.
    xi) Provide information about industries/organizations offering internships to students.
    xii) Extend required support for the students to opt internship.
    xiii) Convey job opportunities in government /semi government and public sector.
    xiv) Sign MOUs with industries for training and placement
    xv) Conduct meetings with departments and HR from industries.
    xvi) Survey of various industries regarding current requirement of employability skills. Provide appropriate training through department.
    xvii) Ensure data up dating on website.
    xviii) Formulate policy for training and placement cell.
    xix) Formulate department wise activity plan for semester.
    xx) Maintain MOM

Student Development Program

Jayawantrao Sawant Polytechnic hadpasar was conducted Student Development Program in Hadapasar campus .This program will be design such as technical training on “ Industrial Recent Trends of Technology “ for all the department to expose the new things which required for industry .

GD PI & Soft skill - Training

To motivate and guide students for improvement in Communication skills and overall Personality Development and impart quality training for Aptitude and soft skills development of students and ensure its effectiveness.
To identify training agencies and arrange quality training programs for Aptitude and Soft Skills improvement of students.
To monitor the effectiveness of training program through continuous monitoring and control and take remedial actions wherever needed.
To create awareness among students about importance of communication skills and dynamic personality and provide guidance and motivation through various activities for their improvement.

In Plant - Training(IPT)

An internship consists of an exchange of services for experience between the student and an organization. An In plant Training implants practical knowledge into a student. It’s like ripening a raw fruit.
In Plant Training will provide an industrial exposure to the students as well as to develop their career in the high tech industrial requirements. Reputed companies are providing inplant training to Students. Here students are initially get counseled in order to emerge out their interest in various streams and what are all the basic concepts they know on that domain.
After the successful completion of studies students has to face this competitive world with this knowledge to face many problems and to find the right solutions which is to be solved in the minimum duration of time. The inplant training is get totally different from the class environments.
