On 23 Sep. 2023 Industrial Visit Coordinator and concerned subject teachers visited the Water Treatment Plant at Water Works (PMC) Pune Cantt, Pune-411001. Before that, all precautionary instructions were given to the students. The basis of the plan, all the students gather in the classroom around 8.30 and we reach the site in about an hour. After reaching the site, the students were given a brief introduction about the site and were given a tour around the site.
We found various types of information around the site. Water purification and its components such as how to Purify the water, with Aeration, Coagulation, sedimentation, clarifloculator, filtration, disinfection and distribution system etc.
