The Institute has established a mentoring system in all departments to take care of the students for their overall development. This system would help the students to come forward with their problems related to academics, professional and personal issues and have a solution to it. This would be done through a GFM, the second parent, just like a mother takes care of the child at home it is the GFM who looks after the student in institute. The duties and responsibilities of GFM are defined at institute level.

Guardian Faculty member: 01 (for every 20 students)

Frequency of GFM Meeting: Once in a fortnight.

Role of GFM:

• Maintaining updated student portfolio.

• Maintains list as per student classification.

• Counseling of students regarding academic, professional and personal problems of students.

• Interaction with parents.

• Motivating the students to participate in various activities.
