Vision

To establish learning environment to reinforce civil engineer who shall maintain professional integrity to serve society with knowledge and skill acquired.

Mission

M1: To impart sound theoretical and practical knowledge in the discipline of Civil Engineering, through effective teaching and learning process.
M2: To produce industry and society oriented skillful engineers through co-curricular activities.
M3: To inculcate the moral values amongst students through extra-curricular activities.

Goals

1. Department primarily is focused on generating valuable civil engineers who will benefit the society and industry as well. 2. To impart sound theoretical and practical skills amongst students and developing them professionally to serve the nation ethically.

  • Provide socially responsible, environment friendly solutions to Civil engineering related broad-based problems adapting professional ethics.

  • Solve broad-based problems individually and as a team member communicating effectively in the world of work.
  • Construction Planning and Designing: Perform optimal civil engineering construction, planning and designing activities of desired quality at optimal cost.
  • Construction Execution and Maintenance: Execute civil engineering construction and maintenance using relevant materials and equipment.
  • Basic and Discipline Specific Knowledge: Apply Knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
  • Problem Analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
  • Design / Development of Solutions: Design solution for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components of processes to meet specified needs.
  • Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
